June 25-July 16: four Wednesdays, 6-8 pm In Conversation with the Soul of America Berkshire Community College, South County campus
|
You’re invited to four astrologically based, non-partisan discussions, deliberately scheduled during this time of political activity. Why? Because your attitude matters to the soul of our nation just as much as your vote does.
This is not an astrological 'who’s-gonna-win-the-presidency' forum; there will be no electioneering. It's a conversation; one of my strengths is translating astrological symbols into useful English. We'll focus on the charts for a series of events leading up to our nation's birth being formally recognized by the world in the 18th century, with emphasis on July 4, 1776 in Philadelphia, October 1781 in Yorktown VA, and the Treaty of Paris in 1783. We'll also examine the potential held in the chart for January 20, 2009, at noon in Washington DC, looking for threads tying that place and time to the original American Dream. As we open our hearts and minds to explore what we find, we'll consider this: Who might we become as a nation, if only we have the courage to dream “that big”?
